DIN 7985 Pozi Pan Head Machine Screws
We supply DIN 7985 pozi pan head machine screws in A2 and A4 stainless steel from M1.6 to M10, plus steel 4.8 zinc plated and a range of brass and nylon. Property class 4.8 - minimum tensile strength 400 N/mm2. Zinc plated as standard. The general-purpose choice for light assembly and enclosure work.
Stainless A2 (304)
Supplied to class A2-50. Good general corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered external use.
Stainless A4 (316)
Supplied to class A4-50. Molybdenum-bearing grade for marine, chloride and chemical environments - specify A4 anywhere salt is involved.

DIN 7985 has been superseded by ISO 7045, but there are small dimensional differences, including head dimensions on some sizes, so they should not be treated as automatically identical where the exact standard matters. If your drawing specifies DIN 7985, send us the requirement and we can identify the appropriate product.
What is the difference between DIN 7985 and DIN 85?
Both are pan head machine screws. DIN 7985 has a pozi cross recess and a slightly taller head; DIN 85 is the traditional slotted pattern with a shallower head.
Is DIN 7985 available in A4 stainless steel?
