Who we are

Woodstock Industrial Supplies Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 03801457. Our trading address is Unit 15, 12 Airfield Road, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 3TG. Our registered office is c/o Schofields Chartered Accountants, Unit 1, St Stephens Court, 15-17 St Stephens Road, Bournemouth BH2 6LA.

Enquiries through our contact form

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, your message, any files you attach and, if you tell us, how you found us. We use this to respond to your enquiry and to quote.

Credit account applications

When you apply for a credit account, we collect your company's details (name, trading name, company number, VAT number, invoice and delivery addresses), the names and contact details of your accounts contact and buyer, your estimated monthly spend, whether you need purchase orders, and the name and position of the person applying. We use this to assess your application, including a credit check through Creditsafe.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are stored with our website hosting provider and sent by email to our team through our email provider. Attached files are sent by email only. Credit account applications are checked through Creditsafe.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to an account: up to 2 years. Customer and credit-account records: 7 years after the account closes.

Why we're allowed to use it

We use your enquiry and credit application details to take steps you've asked for before entering into a contract with you. We run the credit check because we have a legitimate interest in managing credit risk, and we use analytics because we have a legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to collect aggregate statistics about how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed. It is not used for advertising: Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email ryan@woodstockindustrial.com.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
