Frequently asked

Is DIN 965 still a current standard?

DIN 965 has been superseded by ISO 7046. The standards are closely related, although dimensional or technical differences may exist. If your drawing specifies DIN 965, send us the requirement and we can identify the appropriate product.

What is the difference between DIN 965 and DIN 963?

Both are countersunk machine screws with the same head dimensions. DIN 965 has a pozi cross recess for power driving; DIN 963 is the traditional single-slot pattern.

Is DIN 965 available in A4 stainless steel?

Yes - DIN 965 pozi countersunk screws are available in A2 and A4 stainless steel from M1.6 to M8, alongside steel 4.8 zinc plated, brass and nylon.
