Knurled Cup Point Socket Set Screws
We supply knurled cup point socket set screws - a DIN 916 cup point variant with a knurled skirt - in self colour high-strength steel, property class 45H (commonly called grade 14.9), from M3 to M10. The knurling bites into the shaft and resists vibrating loose, for semi-permanent settings that a plain cup point will not hold.

What is the difference between plain and knurled cup point set screws?
Both grip the shaft with a hollow cup point. The knurled version adds a serrated skirt around the cup that bites in and resists vibrating loose, at the cost of marking the shaft more than a plain cup.
