JCP ETA Option 1 Throughbolts, Bright Zinc Plated
We supply JCP ETA Option 1 throughbolts in bright zinc plated steel from M8 to M20, lengths 75mm to 195mm. Option 1 is the European Technical Assessment for cracked as well as non-cracked concrete, and JCP list this range with fire resistance loading and seismic C1 and C2 within the assessment scope. Each size carries both a standard and a shallow embedment listing, so the same anchor can be set at reduced depth where the slab dictates.
Also known as: eta throughbolt, option 1 throughbolt, cracked concrete anchor, seismic throughbolt.

Carbon steel, bright zinc plated (BZP). For external, marine or corrosive environments use the A4 stainless steel ETA ranges.
Related specificationsWhat does ETA Option 1 mean?
An ETA is a European Technical Assessment for the anchor. Option 1 covers performance in cracked and non-cracked concrete; Option 7 covers non-cracked concrete. Specifications for structural connections commonly call up an Option 1 anchor, and the assessment also brings fire resistance and seismic categories into scope for this range.
What is the difference between the standard and shallow embedment columns?
JCP list this range at two embedment depths. Standard embedment uses the deeper hole; the shallow embedment values let the same anchor be set in thinner slabs at a reduced hole depth, with performance per the assessment. Certificates for the range are available on request.
