ISO 7379 Socket Shoulder Screws
We supply ISO 7379 socket shoulder screws in high tensile grade 12.9 self colour and A2/A4 stainless steel, with shoulder diameters from 5mm to 24mm. The ground f9 shoulder runs as a precision pivot, guide or locating face, with a reduced threaded end that clamps the shoulder hard against the mating part.

What are socket shoulder screws used for?
The precision-ground shoulder acts as a shaft: mating parts pivot, rotate or slide accurately around it - common in press tooling, linkages and guides. The thread is a size down from the shoulder so the shoulder seats hard against the mating face.
What tolerance is the shoulder ground to?
The shoulder diameter is held to an f9 fit - the maximum and minimum figures for each size are in the dimension table.
