Threaded Rod (Allthread / Studding)
We supply metric threaded rod - known equally as allthread or studding - to DIN 976-1, in steel grades 4.8, 8.8 and 10.9 and stainless steel A2 and A4, in one metre and three metre lengths across the metric coarse range from M2 to M48. Cut lengths, fine pitches and other materials are supplied to order.

Are allthread, studding and threaded rod the same thing?
Allthread, studding and threaded rod are commonly used trade names for fully threaded rod, supplied in standard lengths and cut down as needed. Drawings may also call up DIN 975 or DIN 976-1; both describe fully threaded rod, and DIN 976-1 is the designation current suppliers work to.
What is the difference between DIN 975 and DIN 976?
DIN 975 is a withdrawn standard for metric threaded rod that is still widely quoted on drawings and in product descriptions, while DIN 976-1 is the current DIN standard covering metric stud bolts and fully threaded product. The two are closely associated in the trade, although differences may exist — if your drawing specifies a particular designation, quote it to us and we can identify the appropriate product.
