What is the difference between DIN 6797 and DIN 6798 washers?
Both are tooth-type lock washers; DIN 6797 has fewer, larger teeth while DIN 6798 carries many finer serrations. The serrated pattern spreads its grip over more points and marks the surface less deeply.
